Please
keep in mind the Cake Social at the Vintage Inn. Our time to serve will
be 3 pm May 20th. We need seven cakes and two diabetic
desserts. The VI supplies plates, forks, napkins and beverages, as well as
someone to supervise. Please let me know if you can furnish a cake or help
serve. So far I have a diabetic cake from the Mae Courtney Group, a cake
from Anita Roberson (also server), Nancy Hocutt and Linda Ray. Please let me
know if you can help.
Please
remember that groups need to elect leaders, etc. for next year. The nominating
committee should be contacting ladies soon. Please be in prayer about your role
in missions next year. Also be in prayer for a WMU director and assistant. This
is a great opportunity for someone out there to be a part of God’s work. We
need fresh ideas.

you for all of your donations, work and willingness to help others.
Be in prayer for missionaries all around the world, the
lost, sick, homebound, jobless, stressed, depressed, etc. Keep our nation; it’s
leaders and all world leaders in prayer also.
Remember to pray for MBC, staff, committees, direction and
workers. Especially remember our youth and leaders/parents as they travel for
camps/missions this summer.
