Week of Prayer for International Missions & the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is Nov.30-

Dec. 7. In December there will be a Lottie Moon Christmas Tree in the fellowship hall decorated with ornaments from around the world. Nativity scenes will encircle the tree. Please stop by and view these international items and pick up your prayer guide. Also each Wednesday in December, someone will hang an ornament on the tree and talk about their mission trip to that country.

 

Please remember the Lottie Moon post office for your congregational Christmas cards. Just contribute 42 cents for each card in the designated box.

 

The salad supper was a huge success and enjoyed by everyone. Thanks to all those who helped in any way.

 

Thanks to those who donated to the Toystore. You have made a child very happy.

 

Please remember we collect unused offering envelopes for dispensing medicine overseas. There is a collection tub in the atrium.

 

Thank you to the GA’s for their assistance in packing food boxes.

 

I received an email stating that Christmas cards can be sent to the military no later than DEC.10 to Holiday Mail for Heroes, PO Box 5456, Capitol Heights, MD  20791-5456.

 

For those interested- Lynn’s mom could still use a few things – flannel sheets (queen), blanket or quilt full or queen), George Foreman Grill, tools (ex.hammer, screwdriver, scissors, wrench, etc), heavy duty extension cord (orange), pillows, broom, clothes hamper (light blue or tan), plastic food containers..

 

Be in prayer for missionaries all around the world, the lost, sick, homebound, etc. especially over the holidays. Have a blessed Christmas filled with the love of Christ. What a privilege to be a daughter of the KING!
